Lady Gaga has become a godmother again.
The Applause hitmaker was named as one of the three godparents - a person chosen to take an interest in the spiritual welfare of a child - of her longtime friends Brian and Angie's baby daughter, Sistilia. This comes just five days after it was revealed the blonde beauty was on a break from her fiance Taylor Kinney.
On Monday the singer shared a photo with the little one on Instagram.
'So proud to be made one of the Godmother's of our little angel Sistilia. @briannewmanny and his Wife Angie have been my friends since we were kids on the lower east side. It was a beautiful baptism and Italian style feast. We love u sissy!'
The 30-year-old singer attended the Italian-themed ceremony in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, looking the part in a blouse and floral headpiece.
While in her home stomping grounds, Lady Gaga also shared a shot with her 18 million Instagram followers in which she was lounging with her father and his friends.
She wrote, 'The boys are back in town. Love that my daddy hangs out w my crew. Or that I hang out w his…I’m not sure anymore!'
Meanwhile, Gaga will have plenty of time for her new responsibility following her split from actor Kinney, 35, after the couple decided to take a break. They started dating in 2011.
Despite their separation, the blonde beauty says she and Kinney - who became engaged in February 2015 - aren't over for good, and are hoping a short break to focus on their respective careers will mend their romance.
